Andreas Hosch was born near Stuttgart in 1975 and grew up in the Munich area from the age of 6. He discovered his passion for photography through a school course at the age of 15. His first works were then influenced by the graffiti scene of the 1980s/90s. In 1997, at the age of 21, he completed his apprenticeship as a photographer and worked as a freelancer.
In 1998, german Max was the first magazine to publish a photo production by Andreas. Since then he has worked as a photographer for national and international magazines and clients around the globe. Amongst them names like Cosmopolitan, Dazed & Confused, Elle, GQ, Vogue or even Aigner, BMW, Swarovski, Triumph international, Hugo Boss, Universal music and others.
In 2011, he founded the photography course at the Blocherer Design School in Munich and still teaches there part-time with passion.
Around 2014 Andreas Hosch started working on free conceptual photo art. Since 2017, his focus has returned to pure analog photography and also abstract painting with extended photo transfer techniques, the hybrid paintings.
